Ambush of Lux Imperatoris

A major firefight ensued with the boxed in L.I. guys trying to find an escape route – their guy Jesus, on the South side, flamed the leader Deckard and 2 scum followers after Deckard failed to take him out with a melta at point blank range (his leadership credentials are being questioned as most of his Juves can out-shoot him week in week out).

The hole in the the ring was ultimately covered through delaying tactics as accurate pinning from various lowly gang members was assisted by Eldon’s new needle rifle from up high poisoning a couple of fighters.

The work was made tricky by an L.I. sniper, Donnie, high on the North wall, but a couple of scum distracted him by climbing up and running at him with shotguns blazing.  It didn’t end well for them, but a worthy sacrifice.

In the end, as sirens and heavy boot steps signalled it was time to go,  the Replicants claimed a somewhat Pyrrhic victory as only one L.I crawled out of the region bleeding profusely, while 2 of their guys were downed.  6 Replicants, including Deckard (naturally) were out for the count, but none seriously. A case of much sound and fury, signifying nothing, but good experience for both gangs.
