In a ferocious surprise attack, the Reservoir Dames devastated the Squat population of the Drake Sector’s lower levels, leaving the Star Helix Mining Co. in disarray..
The attack was launched deep in the sectors lower levels, abandonded by anyone considered civilised. Reports suggest the Mining Co was jumped, unaware of the impending attack, with Phelynx handling Juve alongside a a ghastly creature, its visage a portrait of death, unleashed a lightning assault on the Squats left flank.
The quick attack took out some, but the Squats valiantly held their ground and faught back the fanged Phelynx attacks and the violent claw of what we believe to be a Deathmaiden.
Althought the Dames looked to now be on the back foot, the Mining Co’s defence had caused their number to spread accross their lines quite thin, and had allowed the the Dames’ reinforcement squad to pounce on the far side. Some unfortunete missed opportunities with some heavy weapons by the outnumbered Squats certainly helped the forward progress by the Resevior Dames, but it was their sheer number and cose quater attack which made quick work of their stumpy counterparts.
The Dames where able to split of their targets into small groups, overwhelming them, one pair after another, until there was nothing left but the remaining few Squats to disband and flee.
Few reports we have do suggest something quite disturbing in the aftermath, although as expected the Resevior Dames scawered the area for any loot and dropped equiptment from their enemies, they seemed more interested in butchering the dead Squat left on the battlefield, cutting him into manageable pieces and then bagging him up, as if into a doggy bag for later.
