In the dim candlelight, Lebowski prays to the god emperor. Surely, he hasn’t been abandoned, just one divine sign is all he needs. His deep reverie interrupted by Walter charging in, explaining in a mad fervour of a dream he has had about a crate filled with the light of the emperor.

The Imperators arrive in the area Walter is convinced was in his dream. Only they are not alone. The Orlock gang, Ramseys Revenge are also passing through the industrial area kicking open crates but finding nothing. A sudden crack of gun fire shatters the atmosphere and a well-aimed long rifle shot knocks back a wrecker, the serious injury quickly tended to by her leader, Harvey. This opening volley steadied the advance of both gangs as smoke was thrown and careful footsteps made for cover. Autocannons, plasma rifles and more were fired at the religious fanatics, but Lebowski’s prayers had clearly been heard as few found their targets. Those that did caused serious injuries, 2 bonepickers left critically injured and Karl taking an autocannon shot to the eye!

Fire bellowed from blunder poles and step by step the Orlocks fell to the light of the emperor. 3 valuable crates found was worth Smokey being hit by a trap and the Deacon was right. One crate held a valuable Xenos weapon, perfect to scourge the impure from the Drake Sector.
