Sump Saints Strike Back: Horton’s Unscathed Victory

07/07/44,265 ·

After the attempted sabotage of a stronghold held by The Sump Saints we managed to get a statement from an associate of the Cawdor gang.

“Horton was not happy about the Orlocks sneaky games, he expects that of the Delaque! He sent an open invitation to parley to all Orlock gangs in the area and Ern T Big of The Crucible Crew answered. Horton managed to get him to agree to meet on neutral ground and no pistols guns allowed lest the Emperor strikes them down!

Horton left with Dalwood and a couple of bone pickers to meet Ern. It didn’t take long for Ern to realise this was a trap and he ordered Zanti to rush out and throw her Demolition charge at Horton. Oh did this displease the Emperor, not even a scratch left on Horton as he yelled for the attack. Dalwood’s great sword and the tenacity of the bone pickers dispatching 2 of the Orlock crew in quick succession before Ern realised as lucky as he is, he’s not stupid and left before any more damage was done. Good choice too, the rest of the Saints were waiting with their weapons in the dark.”

Is this the end of the bitter Orlock and Cawdor struggle, or just the beginning? As panic set in across the sector, only time will tell.
