The latest additions to our Escape The Spire roster have been confirmed – the infamous Drake’s Watch has sent a team to compete in the tournament! Dubbed “Drakes Watch – Roving Patrol“, this motley crew of enforcers and security personnel promises to bring a unique brand of militarized mayhem to the field.
As we’ve documented before her at The Drake Chronicle, this unit has been shrouded in controversy, with some members earning notoriety under pseudonyms like “We Are…The Law” and more recently, “Drake Suppression Team.” Their methods have been questioned by many, and their involvement in high-stakes missions has left a trail of questions in its wake.
While they may be seen as the ‘home team’ for the Palantine Enforcers, we should not expect much from the Drake Sector fans nor any special treatment. In fact, it’s likely that their appearance in the tournament will be met with widespread apathy and even outright hostility from the sector’s residents.
“We’re not here to make friends or win popularity contests,” said a spokesperson for the Palantine Enforcers. “Our team is focused on winning, no matter the cost.”
This sentiment was echoed by Lena Frost, Drake Chronicle founder, & Tournament Analyst: “While it’s natural that fans of the Drake Sector would want their local heroes to succeed, it’s essential to remember that this tournament is about competition – not camaraderie. Drakes Watch – Roving Patrol will need to prove themselves on the field if they hope to make a lasting impact.”
The addition of Drakes Watch – Roving Patrol brings a new dynamic to our Escape The Spire roster, one that promises to shake things up in the world of underground fighting. With their unique blend of martial prowess and tactical expertise, they’ll undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with.
Stay tuned for more updates on this intriguing team, and don’t forget to share your thoughts – will the Roving Patrol live up to their reputation, or will they fall short of expectations?
(Note: As always, be cautious when engaging with the enforcers from Drake’s Watch. Their methods may not always align with those of the law…}
