Shock & Awe vs The Chain Breakers

In a thrilling matchup, Shock & Awe emerged victorious over The Chain Breakers in the Survive round of Escape The Spire. But that’s not all – in a stunning display, Shock & Awe chained up the captured Cameo in the contestants lounge for all to see, humiliating him and his team.

Let’s get into it! In the opening rounds, Mia Flash took aim at Lemmy with her Plasma Gun, pinning him down and then taking him out, while Tara Volt targeted Bon with her granade launcher.

Ozzy brough the pain by charging into Sonic Shockwave, knocking her back and causing her serious injury. Meanwhile, Prince tried to distract Lynx but missed his shots, allowing Lynx to overcharged her Plasma Gun, and finsih of Bon, taking him out of action.

The real turning point came in Round 3, when the Static Storm hit the Badzone. Making all Plasma & Las weapons unstable really limited Shock & Awe’s arsenal for the round, and The Chain Breakers took full advantage, Ozzy’s charge into Lynx and his Paired Spud-jackers proved firocious, seriously injuring her just as they did to her leader not long earlier. Meanwhile, Prince shot Tara Volt with his Stub Gun, pinning her down.

In Round 4, Bruce freed himself from the Phelynx cat, causing it serious injury before performing a Coup-de-grace taking it out of action while the cats owner The Masked Wyld Runner snuck passed, taking a loot crate with her.

In Round 5, Spore Clouds filled the dome, putting gang member on alert for a deadly swarm of spores. Ozzy had what appeared to be an unexpected conversation with Sonic Shockwave, seamingly agreeing a personal truce as he then made his way towards the endzone. Mia Flash shot Prince with her Plasma Gun, hitting him and causing serious injury. Three of Shock & Awe had now also made it to their own endzone, each carrying valuable look with them.

Round 5 ended with the firsts cored on the board, Shock & Awe 3 – 1 The Chain Breakers.

If the result wasnt already clear by now, it certainly was come Round 6, when Mia Flash shot Cameo with her Plasma Gun, taking him out of action and enabling her team to capture the injuried enemy leader. Mia then moved herself into the endzone, taking the final loot crate with her. Bruce finally managed to escaped the Badzone after being slowed down by the Phelynx cats, but it was too late – The Chain Breakers’ chances were gone.

Final Score

Shock & Awe 42 The Chain Breakers

AND NOW, THE SAD TRUTH…

In the midst of all this excitement, we can’t help but mention that The Chain Breakers leader Cameo has been…ahem…chained up in the contestans lounge for all to see. Yes, you read that right, folks! Cameo’s team thought they could take down Shock & Awe and get away with it, but instead, they’re left to deal with the humiliation of having their leader displayed for everyone to see. Ouch!

But what’s even more surprising is that Shock & Awe are donating some of their prize money to cover the medical expenses for Lemmy’s injuries ! That’s right, folks, these guys are putting their money where their mouth is. They’re showing that they want to win on their own merit, not due to a weakness of their opponents.

It’s a great sign for the community, and we can’t wait to see what other surprises Shock & Awe has in store for us. Stay tuned for more updates from Escape The Spire!
