Intercepted gangers diary..

My sources managed to intercept an excerpt from a Vicious Vixen gang members personal diary. The diary entry tells of the events of last nights skirmish around The Bone Yard and gives an interesting insight into how some of these gang scum see themselves.

Following a bloody skirmish with the Shockwaves, Mad Mave left instructions for her recovering fighters to guard the Vixens Hideout whilst she struck out across the sector to find new customers for the custom chems the gangs had started producing now that the newly acquired Synth Still was up and running. Staring out across the Sector, Mave could almost see the possibilities.

The Drake Cluster needed a queen and why the hell shouldn’t it be her!

As they crossed the detritus of an abandoned manufactorium, a vile miasma hit the girls. What the hell was this? The Rat Skull Drinking Hole shouldn’t be too far from here now, which was where Mave had agreed to meet her Delaque contact. Her anticipation of the meeting dropped suddenly as she realised how the Ratskull probably got its name. This must be the Boneyard, a corpse farm on the outskirts of the settlement and she just knew this stench was going to ruin any pleasure she may have taken from the pitiful fare she anticipated they would be serving up there.

Distant chanting broke her out of her reverie. What fresh hell was this, as if things weren’t turning sour fast enough! The chanting grew louder and figures started to coalesce out of the reeking fog that seemed to cling to this sector of the hive. Damn, the Sump Saints were here. Had they followed her? Had she strayed onto their turf? It didn’t matter now. Ordering the Vixens to drop what they were carting, Mave ordered Rabeya to take the other girls with lasguns up onto a central building to provide covering fire whilst she and the Blackscream would take the fight to the tonsured trespassers. She’d show them why they called her Mad Mave.

The Saints deployed with their Firebrand Milford raining frag grenades and a specialist Horton firing long rifle shots down on the ambushed Vixens from vantage points at the edge of the board. Surviving the barrage of fire, Mad Mave (queen), the Blackscream (deathmaiden) and Feral Fran (wyldrunner) split to take a flank each and to provide a central screen. Blunderpoles erupted from the emerging Saints, pinning most of the advancing Vixens as a Saints juve was shoved roughly forward to grab a loot crate and scarper. Getting back up, the girls scattered with the Blackscream moving to deal with some Saints that were trying to sneak round the flank and later to engage the Heavy Crossbow Wielding Fanatic.

Mad Mave headed in the other direction to tackle the other Cawdor Champion Granville on the flank. Whilst she managed to take him down, the Saint that was supporting him used some kind of Cawdor witchery to cause her to flee in holy terror and essentially remove her from the rest of the game.
Despite many hits, the Saints seemed unable to bring the girls down and eventually they were taken out one by one leaving a very scared juve that had snuck around the flank deep in Vixens territory and in a lot of trouble.

In a last, desperate bid for vengeance, the Saints Priest Prestwold clambered atop a building to face the Blackscream as she stood over the body of the Saints fallen champion. Catching her flat footed, Prestwold charged and with blows driven by a righteous fury he first disarmed then dispatched the Escher Champion leaving her with a humiliating injury.

Prestwold gathered his flock and left the Boneyard vowing revenge on the Vicious Vixens and all of their kind.
