Gang war erupts over ancient vault in the Drake Sector

23/10/44,265 ·

A fierce battle broke out between two rival gangs in the underhive yesterday, as they fought over a mysterious vault that was said to contain ancient treasures. The Iron Disciples, an Orlock gang, clashed with the Adjustment Administratum, a Delaque gang, outside a dusty vault door that could only be opened by an old mining automata.

The gangs exchanged fire as they advanced towards the automata, hoping to power it up and use it to break into the vault. The battle was bloody and brutal, with both sides losing several fighters. The Iron Disciples lost both of their Wreckers, heavy weapons specialists, while the Adjustment Administratum suffered seven casualties, including their leader.

The tide of the battle turned in favour of the Iron Disciples, who managed to whittle down the Delaque gang with their superior firepower and tactics. The Adjustment Administratum eventually bottled out and fled, leaving the Iron Disciples to claim the vault for themselves.

It is unknown what the Iron Disciples found inside the vault, or what secrets it held. Some rumours suggest that it was an archaeo-vault, a relic from before the Fall of Man, that contained rare and valuable technology. Others say that it was a trap, or a dead end, or something worse.

The vault may have been a prize worth fighting for, or a curse that will haunt the Iron Disciples for ever. Only time will tell.
