The wait is finally over, folks! After weeks of anticipation, the organizers of Escape The Spire have revealed the opening round fixtures for this year’s tournament. And what a lineup it is!
For those who may be new to the underhive’s premier competition, Escape The Spire drops teams from across Necromunda into the heart of The Spire, where only one can emerge victorious. But be warned: The Spire has other plans.
Kicking off the tournament will be Shock & Awe, the electrifying Escher team led by Sonic Shockwave, taking on the heavily favored Roving Patrol, our very own enforcers team from the Drake Sector. Will Shock & Awe’s high-octane style be enough to take down a team with extensive experience in the underhive?
Next up, The Ferrocrete Kings, newcomers to the tournament and Orlock gang affiliates, will face off against Chain Breakers, the fledgling Goliath gang formed by the infamous Iron Hand Intas. This matchup has all the makings of an instant classic: unpredictable teams on both sides, with plenty of opportunities for action-packed gameplay.
Last but certainly not least, The Jackals, with rumored legendary connections, will take on 13th Legion, the elite Venator team. Can The Jackals’ cunning and experience take down a team that’s been bred for combat?
